Every entry comes from an official primary source: the website of the respective university, its official facts and figures, and the accreditation and recognition registers such as the Accreditation Council, AQ Austria and swissuniversities. For each university these sources are linked on the profile page.

Every profile page carries a date. Volatile values such as tuition fees and student numbers are given as a range because they change. The information provided by the university itself is always binding; check your specific case directly with the provider before enrolling.

Some universities are cooperation partners in my network. This is disclosed and marked in the comparison. Partners receive no polished figures, no better price levels and no preferential treatment. The same sources and the same rules apply to all universities.

The price level is a relative scale within the comparison; one euro sign means inexpensive, five mean expensive. It takes the whole package into account, not just the monthly fee, and is not an absolute price. The specific, sourced figure is given on the respective profile page.

At many distance-learning universities a degree is also possible without the Abitur, as a rule via completed vocational training with professional experience or an entrance assessment. In the comparison table you can see for each university whether access without the Abitur is provided for. The university sets the exact conditions.
